About this app

StomaMate — a stoma care app made from real-life experience

I built StomaMate after treatment for stage 4 colon cancer left me with two stomas (a colostomy and a urostomy) in 2026. I wanted an app to help me track wear time, manage supplies, and keep a real record for my care team. I couldn't find one, so I made it myself.

What it does: It logs changes and empties of your appliance in two taps, tracks how long you wear each stoma against your target, manages your supply stock with a warning when it's low, saves "change kits" for your routine, shows real trends in Insights (like wear time, skin health, and activity based on your data), creates a summary for your care team to share with a nurse or GP, and helps you plan how many kits to pack for trips based on your actual use.

What's in it for you

Complete the test and earn 5 seats, which you can spend testing other apps on Percol8.

What's expected from you

A single quick test won't show whether this app holds up. This campaign gets a full cohort of testers installing together and checking in daily for 14 days straight, surfacing the bugs and drop-off that only show up after sustained use. It also clears Google Play's 12-tester, 14-day closed-test requirement, if that's what brought you here:

  1. Join the waitlist now - it's free.
  2. When the developer's ready, they'll launch the campaign. You'll get a 48-hour window to install the app.
  3. Open the app and check in once a day until you've logged 14 check-ins.
  4. Hit 14 and you're done - your seats land in your balance automatically.

Requirements

The user would have to have an ostomy to get true value out of the app
