I'm Jeremy, a solo dev in South East Queensland.

Since November 2023, Google Play has required personal developer accounts to run a closed test with 12 opted-in testers for 14 straight days before the app can go live. I don't have 12 friends with Android phones, and neither do most solo devs. I tried the credit-swap exchanges and the Reddit begging threads. None of it really worked for me.

So I built Percol8: register your app, let real testers queue up while you're still building, then push everyone live at once so your 14-day clock runs at full strength instead of trickling in one tester at a time.

Test another dev's app and you earn a seat. Spend it getting your own app tested. Reputation, not a credit spreadsheet, is what keeps it honest.
